Since 1960, DStevens has been a member of the Registered Master Builders Association. Our Managing Director, Peter Stevens, served on the Gisborne Master Builders Executive from 1998 to 2026, including as Vice President of the local branch from 2015 to 2017. This long-standing involvement reflects our commitment to supporting high building standards across the region.

We are proudly associated with Master Joiners, a national network representing excellence in craft, manufacturing, and business practice within New Zealand’s joinery industry.

DStevens was an early adopter of the Licensed Building Practitioners scheme, launched in 2007. The scheme supports competent building practitioners to build it right the first time, a standard we strongly believe in.

Our memberships with Site Safe New Zealand and ThinkSafe help ensure our team has access to current health and safety documentation, systems, and processes. Our own Health and Safety framework is independently audited and accredited by SiteWise.
