Glenn Stichbury Celebrates 40 Years with DStevens

This year, we’re proud to recognise an important milestone for one of our longest-serving team members. Glenn Stichbury, Senior Joiner at DStevens, marks 40 years with the company – four decades of service, experience, and craftsmanship.

Glenn has been a key figure in our Gisborne-based workshop since the mid-1980s. A qualified joiner with broad experience, he has worked on hundreds of residential and commercial projects throughout the Tairāwhiti region. From bespoke joinery in new homes to detailed timber elements in large-scale commercial developments and education facilities, Glenn’s work can be seen across a wide range of our projects.

With 40 years in the industry, Glenn brings a wealth of technical knowledge to the workshop floor. His passion for producing quality bespoke joinery and his commitment to his craft are evident in the standard of work he has consistently delivered throughout his career.

Beyond the bench, Glenn has helped mentor apprentices and shared his knowledge of traditional joinery techniques. Many who’ve come through our workshop have benefited from his practical approach.
