DStevens Achieves 100% Health & Safety Rating for 2022

DStevens’ health, safety & wellbeing framework, procedures, and practices have been independently assessed as a top-performing system for the sixth year running – supporting and protecting our people in their work.

Since 2017, we have undertaken an annual third-party health and safety assessment with Sitewise to assess our health and safety framework and performance relative to best practice processes and procedures. Each year, we have sought to improve our systems by working together to make a positive impact on our team’s health, safety and wellbeing.

This years’ Sitewise reassessment reviewed new evidence of our company protocols, safety planning systems, risk monitoring, training, incident and health reporting, and how we manage subcontractors. While DStevens has consistently received strong results in our third-party audits, we are incredibly proud to report an assessment rating of 100% for 2022 – successfully building on our results from the last couple of years and achieving Gold Status.

DStevens creates an empowered culture of health and safety amongst our people, subcontractors, clients and wider project team. We continue to focus on improving health and safety protocols and outcomes, both to meet the requirements of regulators across the construction industry, and to ensure that everyone who works with DStevens goes home safely every day.

We care deeply about the people who build our projects and the responsibility we all share to look after each other. Our 2022 result is an incredible outcome and acknowledges the health and safety processes established within DStevens are continually improving to meet an ever-changing workplace environment.
