Kaiti School – Wharekauri

At DStevens we believe education spaces should give students the most supportive environment possible to learn the skills they need for the future. Kaiti School commissioned DStevens to construct a new Modern Learning Environment to help relieve some of the pressures of the schools expanding roll.

The resultant building delivers various spaces that give students a choice as to how they spend their day in the classroom. For teachers, the space is a flexible and open environment aided with the latest technology.

With a large portfolio of education sector experience to draw on, our team is well versed in engaging with a wide and diverse range of stakeholders. We have the facilitation skills to gain consensus where the way forward might not be immediately obvious. Our approach makes provision for the inclusion of items outside the identified scope of services but relevant to the objectives of each project. In general, these items add to the strength of the work being undertaken, increasing the transparency of the process, and the integrity of the outcome.
