DStevens recognised by Registered Master Builders with Long-Service Award

DStevens Managing Director Peter Stevens accepts the company’s Long Service Award at a recent Gisborne Master Builders event.

DStevens has received a Long Service Award from the Registered Master Builders Association, recognising 66 years of continuous membership.

Founded by Derek Stevens in Christchurch in 1955, DStevens joined the association five years later. Following its relocation to Gisborne in 1966, the company transferred its membership to the East Coast association and remains an active member today.

Managing Director Peter Stevens accepted the award on behalf of DStevens at a recent Gisborne Master Builders event. The presentation also acknowledged his 27 years on the Gisborne Master Builders Executive Committee.

Peter joined the Executive Committee in 1998 and held the role of Vice President from 2015 to 2017. Throughout that time, he has brought practical knowledge gained as a builder and business owner to the committee and worked alongside fellow members to support the local association and Tairāwhiti’s wider construction industry.
